Tips for making your stay more pleasant > If you would like an airport pickup or rental car (extra charges apply), please email Anneke in advance of your arrival. > Anneke will arrange to have someone meet you at the house upon arrival but you must arrange this before you come and may have to contact her by phone when you arrive (since flights are often delayed). At that time, she will walk you through the house and explain such things as the security system. Please ask questions at that time. >
We provide a guest book (located in the table in the foyer) which contains
helpful house instructions. There is also an instruction sheet posted on the
kitchen counter. Please read these instructions. Please note other
instruction signs posted around the house regarding use of the pool, patio
area and house computer. >
Should any repairs be needed during your stay, we will make every effort to
correct them promptly but this depends on holiday schedules and contractor
availability. > We make every attempt to keep the pool clean but, in extreme wet weather conditions, the pool may need more frequent cleaning. Please call if extra cleanings are needed. > Our property is fumigated periodically but tiny ants and geckos are common on Aruba and are not a threat or health hazard. There are sprays in the house to combat bugs should it be necessary. We pride ourselves on maintaining a quality property for our guests but, obviously, things do happen. If you find any issues during your stay, all you need to do is contact our agent and she will attend to any and all problems immediately. NOTE:
We do not offer credits or refunds due to weather, environmental or repair
issues beyond our control. We also do not refund due to occasional equipment
breakdowns as they are common occurrences in any home. If any issue causes
our house to become uninhabitable during your stay (such as an extended
power outage or a structural problem), we will help arrange for other
accommodations or credit for any lost days.
